Jasmin Carrera

Jasmin Carrera

Jasmin has played soccer since she was six. She played for the Berwyn Blazers FC as a youth, she then played for Lane Tech High School where she help Lane Tech win four straight Chicago Public League Premier Division Conference Championships.

She earned a degree in Criminology, Law & Justice major at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Jasmin excels both academically and as member of the UIC Womens Soccer team.

Jasmin was an assistant coach for our 2004/2002 IWSL Berwyn Blazers FC girls teams between 2015-17

Alonzo Fragoso

Alonzo Fragoso

Alonzo played all his youth years for Blazers. He began at the early age of six years old. Fragoso attended Morton East High School where he earned two Varsity Letters, was Team Captain his Senior year, was awarded two All Conference awards, and one All Sectional . Alonzo led the Morton Mustangs to two West Suburban Gold Conference Championships, Two Regional Championship, and one Sectional Championship title.

Fragoso was a four year starter at Marian University in Wisconsin, where he graduated and earned a B.A. in Arts.

Fragoso led the nation his senior year at Marian with 23 goals and 53 points, while also adding seven assists. Fragoso had seven multi-goal games and also had six games where he recorded five or more points

Tania Paez

Tania played all her youth years for Blazers. She attended to Morton West High School where she earned four Varsity Letters, was team's Captain her Junior & Senior year, and was awarded two All Conference awards and one All Sectional . Paez led the Morton Mustangs to a West Suburban Gold Conference Championships her Senior year, and a Regional Championship her freshman year.

Paez was a four year starter at Dominican University, where she graduated and earned a B.A. in Arts.

Tania was a very successful college player; she won many accolades during her four years at Dominican University. Tania was also a captian at Dominican in her last two years of college
